Thinking about scale length, the Jazzmaster would probably be a better fit, but I'm not sure about the pickups. The Jagmaster I used to play at GC was a silver sparkle one with a black single ply pickguard. I'm thinking that the neck was 25.5" scale because it felt like a full sized guitar to me.
